DASCOM Americas Joins PRINTEK at International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in San Diego – Will Display DC 2300 Card Printer Badging Solutions

DASCOM Americas, a recognized industry leader in business technology print solutions, today announced it will be attending and displaying card badging and id solutions at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference (IACP) in San Diego, October 14th-17th. The card badging solutions will complement mobile print solutions on display by PRINTEK, a business unit of DASCOM. PRINTEK is a long-time leader in mobile solutions for the public safety market and will be unveiling a new addition to its already robust product line at the conference.

DASCOM will be in PRINTEK booth space 1546 and will show solutions focused on card identification badging and access control using its DC2300 Direct-to-Card Printer. Again, this showing will complement the PRINTEK focus on mobile print solutions.

Juan Vidaurrazaga, Vice President of Sales for DASCOM Americas spoke to DASCOM’s participation at IACP. “PRINTEK mobile has very exciting announcements coming at IACP as they relate to their mobile product offering. DASCOM Americas will accompany them in their space and will show our direct-to-card print solution specific to our DC 2300 card printer. We have both Retransfer and DTC card printers; however, we feel for the attendees of IACP that the DC 2300 will show value as it relates to functionality in areas that may include the necessity for badging in an environment such as employee identification, security, and access control.” He adds: “Many public service areas may not have yet migrated to, or fully understand the advantages to be gained by card printer ownership and use. At a time when security is an increasing necessity in our lives, our range of print solutions makes such an outcome of enhanced security easier. We are delighted to attend and display our product range to this great audience of public servants.”

According to the IACP website, “The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition is the largest and most impactful law enforcement event of the year – more than 16,000 public safety professionals come to learn new techniques, advance their knowledge and careers, and equip their department for ongoing success.”
